A pesare sui titoli del comparto e, in particolare dei chip e dell’IA, è DeepSeek, la startup cinese di intelligenza artificiale, che in poco tempo è diventata l’app gratuita più scaricata su App Store di Apple, sia in Cina che negli Stati Uniti, superando di fatto ChatGPT e, mettendo a rischio la sua leadership USA nell’AI.
Di riflesso, il colosso olandese Asml cede il 9,6%, mentre STM perde il 2,7% e Infineon il 4,3%. A Wall Street, Nvidia in pre-mercato arretra circa del 13%. Microsoft del 4,5% Alphabet del 3,1% e Broadcom dell’8,2%.
