(Ti Lancio da Roma) Roma 23 maggio 2025 – Con 635 congressi internazionali nel 2024 l’Italia si conferma leader in Europa e seconda a livello globale nella classifica ICCA 2024, International Congress and Convention Association, dietro solo agli Stati Uniti. Il BelPaese non solo tiene il passo, ma cresce più di tutti. Lo dimostrano anche le performance delle città italiane: Roma si conferma nella top 10 mondiale, piazzandosi al 9° posto con 114 congressi internazionali.
Milano compie un balzo significativo, passando dal 29° al 14° posto con 100 congressi, e si distingue anche come terza città al mondo per numero medio di partecipanti per congresso. Ottime anche le performance di Bologna, Napoli, Firenze e Torino, che insieme portano a sei le città italiane nella top 100 globale. In totale, l’Italia è rappresentata con 20 città nella top 300, il numero più alto al mondo. Per Elisabetta Fabri, Presidente di Associazione Italiana Confindustria Alberghi, “questo risultato restituisce l’immagine di un sistema che ha finalmente compreso il valore strategico del turismo congressuale per lo sviluppo economico e territoriale del Paese”.
