Fabio Storchi, Head of UCID’s Technical Scientific Committee, met with key UNIAPAC leadership, including President Sigrid Marz, Secretary General Rodrigo Whitelaw, and Alejandra Peña Pous, Head of International Development.
Driving Internationalization and a "Quantum Leap" in Corporate Ethics
The summit centered on accelerating UCID’s internationalization, projecting its core values and best practices onto the global stage. To meet the demands of an evolving global market, participants emphasized an urgent priority: making a definitive "quantum leap" in organizational impact through stronger synergies between UCID’s national chapters and UNIAPAC’s global network.
Key outcomes of the meeting include. Centralized Coordination: A joint commitment to establish unified coordination that defines and harmonizes core values for businesses operating on Christian principles. Faith Values: Moving beyond theoretical reflection to integrate ethical standards directly into corporate identity and daily business conduct. Social Doctrine: Reaffirming that the Social Doctrine of the Church must serve as a practical operational framework—guiding fair labor practices, transparent governance, stakeholder respect, and commitment to the common good.
"For Catholic entrepreneurs and executives, ethics cannot remain an abstract principle. It must serve as the concrete standard driving everyday business choices—from how we treat workers to how we govern our institutions for the broader community."
